Reckon Payroll has received a new update which has brought in a couple of important pieces of functionality that addresses some key issues and also enhances user experience.

🆕 Employee creation enhancements

Some of our Reckon Payroll users were experiencing difficulties during the employee creation process due to the superannuation fund. With the latest update, you can now create an employee without designating a super fund for them. Instead you will now have the option to add the employee's relevant superfund during Step 4 of the creation process.


🆕 Ability to add previous BMSID in an update event submission

We have introduced a new feature enabling Reckon Payroll users to include the previous BMS ID in an update event. This enhancement streamlines your experience particularly for YTD data migration when moving from a different software to Reckon Payroll and eliminates the need to reset values in your previous software.

🆕 Update Event enhancements

You can now send update events outside of a pay run!

If you've made a mistake in a pay run you'll still need to make corrections in the usual way (info HERE) however you can now also send the associated update event from the Single Touch Payroll screen. Its a handy way to send the STP component at any time.
