How do I set up Child Support deductions Reckon Payroll

Can you please advise how I set up Child Support Deductions in Reckon Payroll.

Hi @Bronnie

Child support deductions/garnishees are not a mandatory component of Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 reporting at the moment so at this stage its not supported in Reckon Payroll for STP.

So what option do I select in the deduction type so that it is not reported to ATO?

Hi Bronnie,

Just like what Rav said, reporting of child support is not mandatory in STP 2 and is not supported by Reckon payroll at this stage. Therefore, it should just continue to remain mapped to Other.
