How do you save a company file so that it can be opened when going to 'Open Previous File"

The File is not showing. I am having to go into open saved file, search through the Q File and open that way. I cannot remember how to save it.

thanks

    Hi @agofarm,

You just have to run the program as an administrator. right click on the Reckon Account software icon → "Run as an Administrator". next time you open the company file, it should shows on "Open Previous File"

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi @agofarm,

On the product category, you select Reckon Account desktop. the suggestion above is for Reckon Account Desktop. However, you were mention about Q drive which is a Reckon Account Hosted. For Reckon Account Hosted. please check the default number of previous companies opened: more detail:

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi Kris

I have opened the new Company a number of times, I can go from one to the other while still in the file. When I close Reckon Accounts and reopen, the saved Company is not accessible by using 'Open Previous Company'. I have to go into Q Drive and open it from there. A Mystery.

yes I think I have seen that before, but can’t remember the our outcome, have you set the number of companies to just 1 and see if it works?
