Cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated every day. As a small business owner, how confident are you in your ability to handle a cyber-attack? Many small businesses underestimate their exposure to cyber risks until it's too late. That’s why it’s so important to take preventative action now.

Be aware of some of the most common vulnerabilities for Aussie small businesses:

  1. Phishing Attacks - Hackers use deceptive emails, messages, or websites to trick employees into revealing sensitive information, such as login credentials or financial details.
  2. Ransomware - Cybercriminals use ransomware to infect a business’s systems, encrypting data and demanding a ransom to restore access.
  3. Weak Password Exploitation - Hackers take advantage of weak or reused passwords to gain unauthorised access to company accounts or systems.

Let’s get the conversation started!

  • Have you experienced any security breaches?
  • What steps have you taken to protect your business so far?
  • Do you feel your current insurance coverage is enough to deal with a serious cyber threat?

We've teamed up with Aon to offer Reckon customers a FREE Business Insurance Health Check that will quickly show if you're fully protected or if there are gaps in your coverage. This health check could be the difference between bouncing back from an attack or facing a major financial loss.

I've recently started getting more and more texts from scammers. Specifically, around Amazon deliveries or the common ATO scam voicemail. It would be great if we could report them to telco's. 😡

I know what you mean @Wilco007, I've been receiving quite a number of the automated ATO or Telstra scam robocalls of late.

I upgraded my phone earlier this year which has a suspected scam call feature which identifies these calls on-screen so I can avoid answering, its been quite handy.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone! 🎅🎆

I'm on leave from 23 December and back on deck again January 6th.
