Download Software - Personal Plus V31 - Blocked

When I try to download the software I select "Open"

The software appears to start to download as "remaining time" appears. Then I get a message:

"ReckonAccountsPersonalv31.exe?

Could't download - Blocked"

When I exit the site it gives a warning that the file is downloading, however, I expect the download has stalled?

Appreciate your advice, Bill

No, I have attached a photo of the error message FYI. I have blocked out the "Installation Key Code" number

    Hi @Bill Grint,

I have heard there can be some some settings on edge that can block some downloads from finishing.

Have you tried downloading from a different browser (like chrome)?

I have been investigating overnight and I suspect the download is being blocked by software on the desktop called Sophia Central Intercept X Endpoint. Hopefully I can resolve myself, otherwise, will try your recommendation or maintain this string until resolved. Thanks Bill

    Further investigation confirmed:

    (1) the issue is not a browser issue (tried Edge & Chrome), not a Sophos Central Intercept X issue (log does not show any "blocked actions") or Microsoft security configuration.

    (2) the block error message states the action was blocked by "your organisation", however, there is nothing unusual in the computer settings

The problem was resolved by downloading the file on another computer, saving the file to a UBS, copying the files to my computer and running. New version installed without problems and software is operating without any issues.

Thankyou for your prompt responses and suggestions. We may never identify what is the problem with my particular computer and the download file.
