no toolbox now - have a line of options instead


can you tell me why my view has changed on my accounted hosted - no red toolbox anymore?? and there's a list of things now?

thank you, plus since the "upgrade" my company logo on invoices & quotes has a vertical line at the right side of it - it doesn't show up in my templates either - so i have no clue why or how to get rid of this (see photo)

how do i find the back-up folder to download files? which item is that in

just looked in my files - i don't have my folders in there now?

just found them how come they are right on the last page of files (page 14, not like they used to be at the top of the list of files) - really hate how this is now.

AM I also able to delete the old stp files & payroll downloads from years ago too? or are these needed to stay in that FILES drop down.

Sorry to hear you're not a fan of the new RAH upgrade just yet. All Reckon Accounts Hosted users who were upgraded to the new platform in the latest group were sent an email on Monday and Thursday last week prior to their upgrade occurring as a heads up along with info on the new platform.

In regard to your logo, is this appearing on printed copies of the invoice only or also on emailed copies of the invoice?

yes you can delete old STP files and old backups. If you click on the settings cog on the right you can display 10 lines per page and if you click on the word date modified it will display by the latest date

yes it's only on the printed copy - nothing is showing in templates or online.

can you also move some of the files in backup - into a new folder (de declutter)?

In regard to your logo, we've seen some reports of logos going missing when they're printed and we've got some info on how to resolve that here - Missing logo image on printed invoices after upgrading πΌοΈπ¨οΈ
However, that info is specific to invoices that appear missing on the print whereas yours seems a bit different in the sense that the image is still there but just prints with that line. My recommendation would be to try the steps from that guide linked above nonetheless and just see if that helps at all.
In regard to moving files, while this can't be actioned directly in the new My Files menu, you can do so by accessing the classic file explorer. I've added information on how to do this here - #TipTuesday - Where has the floating toolbar gone? Introducing the My Files menu! β¨

actually - that line does show up on the pdf quote when i open it before printing. BUT it doesn't show on the template when I open it up to look at it.

PS i had time off so missed the upgrade email. all good.

The removal of the toolbox button is a retrograde step, not an improvement. Downloading files is now a multi click, search and click operation, whereas before it was at most a 3 click operation.
Disappointing and inconvenient is how I would describe it.0 -
it has been replaced by My Files along the top of the screen. If you sort by Date Modified your most recent files will be first

At best, this means I can get to my ABA file folder in 4 clicks.
Before this 'upgrade' I could get there with one click. This is an inconvenience at best.0 -

Your feedback about the change in process is valid and we're continuing to explore ways to refine and simplify the user experience based on what weβre hearing from our community.
