Do not have the latest version when upgrade from Trial version to paid version

I used the 3 month trial of Easystart and as the period ran out, today purchased Easystart 2012/13. Trying to get the files from the trial version onto the new purchased version but it's saying that I do not have the latest version of Quickbooks, yet there are no updates listed for this product. Help?

Hi Corrie,I’m sorry to say you purchased an older copy of EasyStart (2012/13) than the trial (2013). You cannot open a newer copy file in an older programme.
I suggest you return the product to the retailer and exchange it for the latest version. Your file will then open without any trouble.
