I want to create a test/play company that does not have all of our transaction history in it. Only say the last month's transactions will suffice for our purposes. How can this be done?

You can create a new company file, import various lists, chart of accounts namely from your original file, but you would have to enter the transactions manually

@Rav I was about to suggest RH have a look at the Sample Co File but have just noticed the Open Sample Company button has gone from the RAH No Company Open window ! Is the Sample File no longer available for RAH users or is it automatically listed in their Q Drive ??

    Yes

This can be done , through the use of SDK /API .

We can pull data from certain dates as required.

But , as again , Business expects Reckon to provide this and free .

    Hi all,

As Shaz has mentioned a sample file is probably the best way of getting this done. If you're looking for a Sample File to use in Reckon Accounts Hosted you can download one from the guide linked below -

The OP can advise if I have and if so I'll stand corrected. Either way the sample file is a good way to play around with data and test features/functionality without the risk of tinkering with your own live file as you know.

    OMG seriously. Enough already.

I thought this forum was about being able to get help with Questions & Issue's within the Reckon community & NOT to continuously get bombared with arguments & carry on's in every topic.

If you have nothing constructive to say on the original question/issue then just stop.

    You don't know everything.

I'm sure others would appreciate this as well.

We all have better things to do then receive email after email after email with arguments back & forth.

Oh & I know that you will comment !!! 🤦‍♀️

I think this thread has derailed far enough and will now be closed.

@RM hopefully there's been enough in here to give you some ideas on how to tackle what you need but if not, please create a new separate thread.
