Reckon Payroll - Multiple Pay Periods for Annual Leave Tax Calculation?

Hi guys,

With annual leave coming up, I have a query regarding paying employees for multiple pays on their last day. In Payroll Premier you could always adjust the number of pay periods so the employee was not taxed based on one weeks' earnings. If he was taking 3 weeks annual leave, then you could enter the number of pay periods as "3" to reduce the tax over 3 pay periods. Is there a facility within Reckon Payroll to enable this to occur? Please Refer to screenshot below...

    Hi @Mark_9171963,

Unfortunately, at this time this is not possible for Reckon Payroll.

If you would like to make the suggestion on our https://ideas.reckon.com/ to have this potentially implemented based on votes you receive from other members in the portal, we highly encourage you to do so as we value all feedback to better the software.

Thank you and have a lovely day.

    Cheers,

    Lucas

    Hi Lucas,

I was wondering if there has been any progress with this feature. I have submitted it as a recommendation awhile ago.

I would like some feedback if possible.

    Thank you.

    Hello Lucas,

Any updates with the payroll periods selection for Reckon Payroll?

In progress or not going to be implemented?

    Thanks.

    Hi all

Building this feature for Reckon Payroll is certainly still on the cards for us, however we've got a range of projects both on the go right now and planned over the next few months. To be transparent in terms of expectations, its likely to be around the second half of next year at this stage.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone! 🎅🎆

I'm on leave from 23 December and back on deck again January 6th.

If you're working through the holiday period, we've got support available and you'll find our holiday hoursHERE.

    Hi Rav,

Well, this is most unfortunate to hear this feature is not a priority and not likely to be implemented until the second half of next year. :(

I think it is a vital aspect of payroll in terms of paying in advance for annual leave. It would cut down time spent entering details.

    Thanks for letting us know.
