How to find default Admin username in Reckon Accounts Hosted or Desktop

How to determine which username is the default Admin user in the company data file.

1. Login to your company data file.

2. Click on the Company menu

3. Click on Users

4a. If you have a Reckon Accounts Accounting/Plus/Pro/Premier/ product 

   - Click on Setup Users 

4b. If you have a Reckon Accounts Enterprise or Reckon Accounts Hosted product 

   - Click on Setup Users and Roles

Take note of which username is designated with “(logged on)” as this confirms which username is currently logged on.

Take note of which username is designated with “(Admin)” as this is the default Admin / Administrator username in this specific company data file.

Do you know the password for that Admin user?

If you do not know the password for the Admin user then it will prevent you from logging in as the Admin user to perform tasks such as data file upgrades.
