So after the mother board on my PC died while QB was running i managed to get the hard drive to run on another PC, but the only file missing was my company file (.qbw) i can see the (.tlg) file. i have a backup from august (yes i know i should backup more often
Running Quickbooks 09-10. I read that the .tlg file is the information between now and the last back.
So i have no idea where the QBW file went
I guess its gone for good?
Is there a way to retentive the files between last backup and now using the .tlg file and my last backup?

Hi Orlando,
Welcome to the Reckon Community and thank you for your question.
I am sorry to hear that your QBW file got missing; here are some steps which I may recommend you:Step 1: Search the *.QBW file on the hard drive
Step 2: What you read about .tlg file is true that is it holds the information between now and the last backup
Step 3: You may need to contact our data recovery team for any data related issues as per step 2 http://home.reckon.com.au/support/Home/ReckonSupport/ReckonDataServices.aspx
NB: Service Charges apply http://home.reckon.com.au/support/Home/Information/Servicecharges.aspx
How to request a data file repair service for a Reckon Accounts (Desktop / Hosted) company data file
We hope the above helps you resolving your issue. If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Cheers
