I keep having to Validate my file to removed damaged transactions, but I have to repeat this action each time I use the program. How can I 'fix' the file?

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me? I'm continuing to have a problem with Personal Plus 2021 with damaged scheduled transactions, which I have to remove daily by Validating my file.

I agree. I'm still having trouble with this as well. Transactions that havent been scheduled for years suddenly appear in the list. I too can only get rid of these many transactions by validating the file EVERY day! We use Account - Home and Business

    Try the following:

    1. Make a backup OR a copy of your data file set (these are the file with the same name but different file extensions such as *.QDF, *.QEL, *.QSD, etc), ensure you know where the backup or copies have been placed
    2. Then click on the File menu, then File Operations then Copy
    3. Save the copy of the file to a different location or give the copy a distinctive name
    4. Perform a validate on the newly created copy of the data file
    5. Confirm whether the problem persists

Has anyone found a permanent fix for this issue.

The above recommendation worked for a while but not any more - I am always left with rogue transaction that I cannot edit or delete.

I am wondering if I pay to have technical support look at my file if I will get a permanent solution of if it would be a waste of money.

As annoying as this issue is, I still have not found any other personal finance solution which handles personal finances & investments plus produce excellent reports to give to my accountant at tax time.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

Stephen, I still have this problem as well and have to validate the file almost daily but Reckon says there is not a glitch??

I too would change if I could find a suitable substitute product.
