The Reckon Payroll App is STP Phase 2 ready!

We are excited to announce that the Reckon Payroll App is now STP Phase 2 ready! This means that you can make the switch to STP Phase 2 at any time between now and June 30, 2023.

With STP Phase 2, you will be required to provide additional information to the ATO whenever you process a pay run. This new way of reporting is mandatory from June 30, 2023, for Payroll App users.

Here's how to make the switch to STP Phase 2!

☑ Step 1 - Complete the STP Phase 2 Checklist

The checklist will guide you through the information you need to edit or review to get your business compliant with the ATO's requirements. Access the checklist under the Compliance menu in Payroll web.

☑ Step 2 - Switch to STP Phase 2

Lodge your checklist data to the ATO and finalise your transition to STP Phase 2. This can be done at any time between now and June 30, 2023 (there is no need to wait for the end of financial year).

• ℹ Please note that once you have switched to STP Phase 2, you cannot go back to report via STP Phase 1.
