Personal Plus 2022 Finding "Investing" or "Financial Overview" with my Records

I am a longtime user of Reckon Personal Plus and not very computer literate.

In the past when I logged in I would have to enter my password and a list of my shares would appear. Then I would click on "investing", "financial overview" or "portfolio". Then I could access each share account.

When I log in today no password box appears and I go straight to the August calendar. Whatever I do I can't get a list of my shares up or the individual accounts. I do not use Reckon to record in a calendar receipts and payments. I do not need the calendar.

Can someone help?

As @Michael Sandner has indicated, confirm that you are opening the correct file.

If necessary give the Technical Support Team a call so they can guide you in identifying and locating all (*.QDF) Reckon Accounts Personal range data files sets that exist on your computer.

Your Reckon Accounts personal range (Desktop) data file set would be comprised of multiple files with the same name with different file extensions.


<Filename>.<file extension>

Example:

For this example the default file name is "QDATA". Yours may be similar or totally different especially if you had given the file a specific name at the time that you created it.

QDATA.QDF – this is the main component

QDATA.QSD – these are supplementary files

QDATA.QEL – these are supplementary files

QDATA.QPH – these are supplementary files

QDATA.RKN – this is a compressed backup set

Knowing the names, sizes and location of all the files that are found can give you a better indication as to how many you do have and which one is the most likely to contain the information you are expecting.
