Im using window 7 64bit. When I try to print an invoice to PDF for emailing the machine hangs, requiring a reboot. I have checked that the conversion printer is installed and changed it from LPT1 to print to file. I have wasted the morning on this and this feature is the only reason I upgraded. Please help.

Hi Allan,
Welcome to the Reckon Community.
Please refer to this article:
https://community.reckon.com.au/reckon/topics/a9l45bkc1h76t
to set your Reckon PDF Printer (it may be Quicken PDF Printer) to a separate port.
The article refers to QuickBooks V4 PDF converter, but you should read Reckon PDF Printer in its place. Also your print file is wpr.dat and is located at C:\Users\<logged in user>\AppData\ Roaming \Intuit\Quicken\Config
Please let me know how it goes.
If you still have problems please take a screenshot of the error message.
regards,
John.

Thanks for your help. I ended up ringing the support line and got it fixed. Your suggestion helped but I could not delete the suggested files as they weren't there. I uninstalled the program and tried again to no avail. The answer was simply to give the conversion printer its own port. No need to delete anything. Thanks again.0
