Suppliers Estimates

What about making it a pending purchase?0

Yes I can do that. But my understanding is that Estimates is supposed to work both ways, Customers and Suppliers
The "Estimates" icon on the home screen has arrows pointing to Invoices AND Purchase Orders

Hi Steve,
Yep that arrow does seem to imply it would be possible.
But from my understanding of how it works is more along the lines...
Customer asks for 'Estimate' from which you create a 'Purchase Order' for your supplier to make sure they have in the item/s for you.

Yes that's right. That leads to my original question. How to create a PO from the Estimate ?
If the estimate has multiple items, must be all re-entered in the PO. Seems tedious and un-necessary

Example:
Customer requests estimate for 20 different items, various quantities
I create and issue estimate
Customer accepts, I issue invoice from the estimateNow need to create Purchase Order, same items and quantities
Cannot use the estimate
Have to re-enter all items and quantities as a PO0 -
So Sorry Steve, I didnt understand your first question....
Do you have this option on your estimates?
If you click on the down arrow beside the create invoice this list appears (or similar ) just now click on purchase order... then you will get..
and you can choose either... I changed my option to the one higlighted and then i got this screen....
Now you choose which items in the estimate you need to order from your supplier and click Ok... if you have a couple of suppliers then you would do this as many times as necessary...

No I just have an icon "Create Invoice". No drop-down menu.
So it seems something to do with my version (RA2014 Pro) ?

I have been patient for 2 weeks while there were issues with Hosted. Somebody at Reckon please respond to my query.

I have contacted Reckon Tech Support. They tell me that Estimates-to-PurchaseOrder is only available in Premier and Enterprise Editions. Would be nice if this was clearly stated in the Product Comparison webpage.
So in RA2014 Pro, the arrow from Estimates to Purchase Order is a "Bug"
PS I will live without this feature. I cannot justify the additional expense of upgrading my RA version
