    Hi Zeenia,

    Has the location of your company file been changed by any chance? If so, this can be the reason you're not able to open the file 

    Head over to File > Open or Restore Company > Open a Company File (.QBW)

    This will bring up a dialog box which will allow you to choose the new location of the file.
