I have issues with lodging single touch payroll to Govconnect, as all details in Govconnect match with those in Reckon but it shows invalid company information provided. I have been searching solutions online and knowledge browser, but it didn’t work. Can you please help me to fix it up?

    Hi Yvonne,
    Have you checked the case sensitivity and special characters etc? The details in your Reckon accounting software need to match exactly what is presented in GovConnect (pulled from the ABR). For example if my legal company name is King & Queen Limited but I have King AND Queen Limited in Reckon Accounts, it will cause an issue.
    Please recheck all the details across the two, more info here if required.

    Yvonne, just called support and they said to cull some characters on both names and i got it to work. The lady said sometimes they've found it needs to be even less than 50 characters to work.

    Thank you Rav for the reply. Yes I have checked more than 10 times and both details are exactly the same, however it still didn't work. What should I do?

    Including spaces? Do you use branch numbers? Is there brackets around your telephone numbers? Or any other special characters in your address details?

    Yes, including spaces. We don't use branch numbers. No brackets around telephone numbers. 
    The only things is there is no our address shown in Govconnect, don't know whether it is a issue or not.

    No, the missing address doesn't cause the error unfortunately.
