Why is Loan Manager no longer available in the Banking Menu?

The only way that I can access Loan Manager is via the loan payment reminder in the reminders window. Why is this? Also, the loan payment reminders are not clearing when I make a payment. Any ideas?

Hi Carrie,
Thanks for asking the Community.
Unfortunately, the Loan Manager was an additional proprietary utility owned by Intuit Inc, and in line with end of the agreement between Reckon and Intuit in 2014 this utility was removed in the 2015 edition. Reckon is examining replacement options for this Loan Manager in a future release.

4 Years on and I guess they are still examining their options. No wonder Xero is making such inroads.

@Rav I think it's a valuable feature to have as a lot of businesses have loans & the financiers don't always readily provide the Amortisation Schedules for them. Therefore I end up sourcing my own using an Excel template but it's time-consuming, clunky & not very precise so the ability to generate & manage this from within the program is really useful 😊
... Perhaps it could be an optional Company File feature within Preferences that could be enabled/disabled ?
