Payroll Company File Name

in Payroll Premier

Hi Rav,

Our Payroll Premier company file contains a date (140722) at the end of the name. Is that an issue? If so, can I edit the name? What is the best way to fix this?

    Hi Steph

    I don't believe numbers in the file name should cause you any problems but please ensure there are no special characters in the name eg. brackets, hyphens etc.

    Have you been experiencing any issues with the file since the date was added to the name?

    Thanks for your response. I don’t believe there have been any issues. There are no special characters. Not sure why there is a random date in the name, strange. Are we able to edit the name in C Drive? Or will that cause a drama?
