Loss of sound
Hi, my desktop version of Reckon Accounts Personal, that I have been using for many years went "silent" a year or more ago.
The entering and saving of transactions in the register used to be accompanied by a cash register sound, now there is no sound.
Is there a fix for this?

Go to Edit ➡️ Preferences ➡️ Setup ➡️ Tick the Turn on Sound Effects option ➡️ OK

It looks the option for the beep sound has been disabled. Please check this out -

Thanks Rav and Tanvi for your replies.
Rav: I have the "turn on sound effects" ticked, but still no sounds
Tanvi: I think your first suggestion relates to the cloud version because my Edit menu does not have an option called "options". Your second suggestion I have tried, and still no Reckon-initiated sounds are played. There was also no option seen for the old "cash register" sound.

I sort of remember that somewhere in the windows setting there was a sound for reckon. I will have a look if I can find it and do so yourself as well.
