Hi Leanne,
The roles refer to the permission level and ability to access certain functions of the program.
The Administrator has full access to all areas of the program and usually sets up the file, assigns passwords and sets access privileges to other users.
User is the role assigned to additional users who are able to work within the pre-defined parameters set by the administrator.
There's more info around roles & permissions within the in-product help section of Accounts Hosted. Help > Reckon Accounts Help > type in keyword search for roles, permissions etc
Hope that helps
Cheers

Thanks Rav. There is also a role called Owner - do you know what type of permissions this has and what are the ramifications if change a user from Owner to User? Is at least one user required to be an Owner?0

Also just to be clear - I'm referring to the Reckon Hosted roles not the ones in Accounts Hosted. Cheers0
