cannot export trial balance in excel version

Hi  I am trying to email the tb.  When I select the excel option, the little egg timer flashes a couple of times then nothing happens. I haven't had this problem before.  Can someone please help? thanks

    Hi JER,
    Are there any further prompts or windows that may have opened in the background awaiting action? Can you please check by using Alt+PageUp 

    Also, are you attempting to export in .XLSX format?
    If so, can you please try exporting in .XLS format and confirm if the export goes ahead for you?
