Unable to return( enter to next line) with description in estimates and invoices

Hi,  I have been trying to input estimates and invoices but I have been unable to enter (as in return button) and enter a new sentenace or detail under the initial line.
Any ideas on what might be happening or how I can fix this?

Exit your file by going into File > Exit and then go into the Hosted control panel and log off the active session. Logout and close your browser and then retry in a couple of minutes.

Is there any change in this behaviour?

Hmmm I just logged in to test using my account and it worked normally.
Is it affecting all invoices/estimates you try to create or a select one/few?

Rebecca - Try pressing the Shift key and then pressing Enter - this should take you to a new line?

Just to add to Linda’s advice ....

 

This is actually a set-able Preference if you want your “Enter” key to default to this.

 

You can access this setting under the “Edit” dropdown menu > Preferences etc as per the screenshot below  :)
