Entering figures for Pay Runs in STP Payroll App - not calculating correct amount

Hi All,

I am entering pay runs for the first time and cannot work out how to enter them so they match the gross pay amount (the hourly rate x hours worked for "ordinary pay" does not allow decimal points past 2 which means the gross total is incorrect/does not match actual gross amount which also means the Super and Tax are incorrect). There does not seem to be an option to enter just the gross amount. I have gone through the steps and cannot use the amounts from previous pay runs when I select this option. Can you help.

Hi Felicity,

If you're only able to enter values to 2 decimal places then you'll be using an older version of the Payroll App. There was a recent update which has expanded the fields to accept 4 decimal place figures. Info here -
